Fear, phobia, and anticipatory anxiety

Fear is an uncontrolled emotional reaction that is often linked to a past situation, or an event, or a series of events, or a person, or a group of people.  It is natural to feel like wanting to run away from that particular unpleasant experience that has to turn into fear, phobia, or anticipatory anxiety that is now limiting your life.

There are many types of fears, the most common like fear of flying, closed spaces, heights, water, failure and performance. Homeopathy is a natural medicine that offers an effective alternative treatment to help treat such conditions.

 How does homeopathy work?

This holistic, natural medicine works by treating the whole person, and not just the symptoms since the human body functions as one unit, and a disorder in one part can affect another. Homeopathic medicines do not cause drug-dependency or any side-effects, too.

Fear of Flying with Restlessness:

Arsenicum Album is a homeopathic medicine used to treat the symptoms of fear of flying accompanied by restlessness.

Fear of Height:

Argentum Nitricum is a homeopathic medicine used to treat the fear of height. The symptoms of giddiness, closing in and crushing upon the person are predominant.

Fear of Closed Places (Claustrophobia):

Stramonium is a homeopathic medicine used to treat the symptoms of fear of closed places with a desire to escape. The anxiety becomes particularly strong when going through a tunnel or similar closed space.

Fear of Open Places (Agoraphobia):

Gelsemium is a homeopathic medicine used to treat the symptoms of fear of open places, especially stage fright. The affected person has a nervous dread of appearing or performing in public.

Fear of Water (Hydrophobia):

Hyoscyamus is a homeopathic medicine used to treat the symptoms of fear of eating or drinking coupled with delirium. The person develops anxiety on hearing the sound of running water.

Fear of Failure:

Lycopodium is a homeopathic medicine used to treat the symptoms of fear of failure with weak memory with strong aversion to undertaking new challenges.

Have you been suffering with long term fear, phobia or anxiety?

If you have chronic fears, you might want to consider booking an individual consultation.

Chronic phobia or anxiety usually does not happen in a vacuum and can be related to other issues arising from physical and emotional stress or even hormonal changes and imbalances in your body.

An individual consultation would review all symptoms and guide you back to your healthy and happy yourself again.

“I have been seeing Lucie for a few months now. The remedies she has prescribed have not only helped manage the palpitations I was experiencing but have helped tremendously with my overall wellbeing. Some long-term phobias have disappeared including motorway driving, driving along dykes that I haven’t been able to pass for years as well as feeling much calmer around people as I have suffered from social anxiety a lot over the years. I feel generally more confident and happier and I feel that my self-esteem has greatly improved. I no longer feel tearful and overwhelmed. Thank you so much, Lucie.”
